Walk Unafraid

Walk unafraid
let go of the past
and learn to get out of your own way
(I'm working on that one)

vow to explore one new place a month
be it a sleepy little community
or an exciting city
or that park across town
that you've been meaning to get to

don't be a brat, face your insecurities
you are stronger than they are
and they are not the boss of you

let your mind
your heart
your dreams
wander

Fear nothing.
except for spiders
there's just no getting around some shit.

Mystic Love

~ Mystic Love ~

Smitten seas, lunar breeze
life becomes carefree
senses tease, lovers please
sail away with me

mystic ease, moments to seize
a wanderlust potpourri
private reprise, love's guarantees
never say never to me.

The Other Side of the Moon

Windswept tears and boomerang fears
clears, but never quite disappears
seeking ways to become immune
on the other side of the moon

hiding here, but throwing clues there
juxtaposed desires ensnare
the heart, it retreats into a cocoon
on the other side of the moon

look for truth behind the danger
pay homage to love, the stranger
to hearts that land wherever strewn
on the other side of the moon

windswept tears and boomerang fears
on the other side of the moon.
