I've stopped believing in the lore

of superheroes with powers galore

they'll never make it to my shore
because it's you I adore
 

in the interest of a dream
blur the lines of reality's theme

live a future as we deem

it can be as simple as it seems

 

if you feel me to your core
then we have something to explore

I don't need a cape to soar

if you'll love me, evermore.
